Levande, The Diocese of Broken Bay and Opal Aged Care have together delivered a multi-use development, co-locating cross-generational facilities adjacent the existing Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Parish Church at Epping. The new precinct houses vertical retirement living, aged care and a primary school, along with community spaces and a new parish hall.
A key part of the development, Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Primary School has been redeveloped by Architectus, bookending the site and continuing the brickwork vernacular established by the existing church.
A play on the prominent brickwork used throughout, the offset sections of signage step up the stairs, reinforce directions, and signal levels.
