Futuro

Futuro is a new model for Early Learning, currently being implemented by Jeckra over multiple sites across Western Sydney. The brand embodies the child-centred principles of the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, and embeds each centre into its’ local community through language and food.

Working with the playful palette and Matisse-like shapes established by Made Agency, MAAT have developed an evolving family of communication graphics - from hoarding supergraphics, placemaking and wayfinding, through to family newsletters, weekly menus and T-shirts.

The signage strategy integrates Futuro’s Play Learn Grow values throughout the wayfinding - pairing Italian words with pictograms; identifying rooms in a number of ways, with numerals, colours, words and animals; and locating signage datums at children’s eye height.

The designs are joyful and full of colour, bringing to life the new brand and utilising the street frontages as key identification and placemaking opportunities.

Projects ongoing.
