Epping Retirement Village

Epping Retirement Village

Stockland, The Diocese of Broken Bay and Opal Aged Care are together delivering a multi-use development, co-locating cross-generational facilities adjacent the existing Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Parish Church at Epping. The new precinct will house vertical retirement living, aged care and a primary school, along with community spaces and a new parish hall.

MAAT are delivering a comprehensive wayfinding strategy across vehicular and pedestrian circulation for the precinct, providing a holistic approach to the whole site as well as integrating the individual identities of distinct facilities.

The wayfinding strategy has been designed to encourage pedestrian movement across the site and connection to the existing street network; and cross-generational interaction within the community. It responds to the peaks and lows of school and parish circulation, whilst maintaining the amenity of the day-to-day residents.
